In hindsight, the Lamaze class was really to prepare my hubby for what was in store, because I didn't remember one lick of that class once those contractions took over. You'll just be riding the wave from one contraction to the next, but my hubby would tell you that the class was good for him. The breastfeeding class was a must for me! No one tells you that breastfeeding can be difficult, and I most surely would have quit had I not been prepared and ready for this glorious challenge. Because of this class, and the awesome LeLeche gals, I was able to feed my babes for over a year.

Of course, as a nurse, you probably know all these things anyways... :)Clanton Clanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01251597661683128540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1054573618269297304.post-23018202482170659672012-01-17T10:02:36.811-07:002012-01-17T10:02:36.811-07:00Hmmm I wish I could offer more input here. I would like to take some sort of course but I am not sure that there are such a variety around here. I think it is more of a general prenatal class and then a hospital tour at the end. I think it would be nice to take a breastfeeding seminar before hand but I know this is something that is done in a "hands on" lesson right after the baby is born. I must say I would like to learn a litle more before hand when I am not in foggy happy new mom mode :)

Can't wait to hear what you end up choosing :) I learn SO much from you!Shanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12224724454067100780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1054573618269297304.post-52780018229482278802012-01-16T21:25:09.616-07:002012-01-16T21:25:09.616-07:00We didn't take any classes! I just did some reading on sleep routines/ schedules and I think our babies are pretty happy!! Good luck with your pick, but if you don't have the time I don't think it is the end of the world :)Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02764839327110718796noreply@blogger.com
